Interactive Northwest Solution Now Rated “Avaya Compliant”

Interactive Northwest, a leading provider of self-service solutions and Platinum DevConnect member, announced that its INI EQuilibrium™ application is compliant with key contact center solutions that use Avaya Voice Portal from Avaya Inc., a global leader in enterprise communications systems, software and services.

INI EQuilibrium helps businesses assure up time of their Avaya Voice Portal solutions by ensuring that each call is directed to an active application server. INI EQuilibrium now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Voice Portal 5.1.

“This compliance demonstrates INI’s continued commitment to provide advanced call center solutions that further enhance the stability, management, and availability of applications running in the Avaya Voice Portal environment,” said Gary Van Gordon, Vice President of INI.

“INI EQuilibrium has been successfully deployed with multiple customers and has processed millions of calls as a custom application. Now this software load balancing/application dispatcher product is available to the entire Avaya Voice Portal community. From both a feature functionality and pricing standpoint, INI EQuilibrium has received positive market feedback when compared to generic load balancing solutions. Tight integration into the Avaya Voice Portal administrative menus ensures a simple, consistent, and familiar user interface developed exclusively for Avaya Voice Portal,” continued Van Gordon.

Interactive Northwest, Inc. (INI) is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program – an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Platinum member of the program, INI is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab, where a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures that organizations can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their networks without having to replace their existing infrastructure – speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

“INI showed us the custom version of EQuilibrium almost a year ago and told us of their plans to develop a fully-integrated version of the application for use on Avaya Voice Portal. We recognized the value of the application and encouraged them to follow through with the development and testing of EQuilibrium to gain DevConnect compliance,” said Michael Perry, Contact Center product management director, Avaya.
